POST BASIC NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

- Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery Applicants must have RM and RN Licence respectively

- Entry point for POST BASIC MIDWIFERY is HND 1

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Undergraduate Programmes of the Coal City University (CCU), Enugu for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Admission Requirements;
All candidates applying must have a minimum of 5 Credits O’Level result in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics (except Political Science department where D7 is accepted in Mathematics) and not more than two sittings in WAEC.
How to Apply
Step 1 – Change of Institution
- You are expected to choose Coal City University as your first choice of university while siting for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Boards’ (JAMB) Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, if you did not choose CCU at the initial stage, you have the opportunity to do a change of institution. This process can only be done at a Computer Based Testing (CBT) center or any JAMB Office Nationwide.
NOTE: This process CANNOT be done at a cyber cafe
Step 2 – Upload of O’Level Result
- Currently, admissions are only issued to candidates whose O’Level results are available to JAMB. To ensure you don’t miss the opportunity of gaining admission into Coal City University, make sure you upload your result at JAMB Portal using the services of a CBT Center or any JAMB Office. For the avoidance of doubt, kindly download JAMB CAPS MOBILE from your play store and register to also monitor your admission process
Step 3 – Print out your Original JAMB Result
Step 4 – Apply to CCU

- While on the Portal click on the “Apply for a Degree Programme”; link to generate an invoice for the payment of the application fee of NGN2,000. Select your application type, enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on submit.

The General public is hereby informed that the Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Programmes across the three (3) campuses: Birnin Kudu Campus, Hadejia Campus and Babura Campus.

Step 1

- On the home page, go to the header and click on “Apply Now”
- Complete the electronic application form (student will be required to agree to the terms and conditions for application)
- After completion, check email for a confirmation link and click the link provided to activate your account
Step 2
- After confirmation of account via email, proceed to make payment of application fees (payment link has been automatically generated and credit or debit card can be used instantly)
- After payment, click proceed to application and fill the form and upload passport photograph alongside credential documents in one pdf file.
- Select Program of Choice; either Certificate, Diploma, or Degree Program
- Select stream (i.e. semester of admission either fall or spring semester)
- Select Level (Note: only candidate applying for direct entry admission)
- Click on “View Admission Requirement” to see compulsory subjects required for admission
Step 3
- Wait for review and confirmation of admission from the Registrar; this may take a few days. You are required to check your email regularly
- Once admission is confirmed, an email will be sent to youLog into your account and proceed with documentation and confirmation of admission
- Print out your admission letter
- Proceed to pay fees (Payment link has been automatically generated and credit or debit card can be used instantly)
- After payment, proceed to course registration
- You are done to start your studies with Iconic University
Step 4
- After admission has been confirmed, it is not mandatory to take this step before the commencement of studies. This step can be done within the first year of studies.
- This step entails sending all the required documents to the University by post or in person. Unattested certificates are accepted during application for admission, and attested documents must be sent via postal service to the University before the commencement of the second year of studies. You will receive the details needed and the University postal address once you have been approved for admission.
Note: Attestation is a mandatory requirement to obtain a degree at Iconic University. We, therefore, recommend that students compile it well in advance to avoid any complications later on. The notarized copy of the document that the student posted to the University must itself bear the notary stamps and signatures. A photocopy of the notarized documents is acceptable to be sent to the University.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma (ND):
Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics In not more than two sittings in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or its equivalent.
Admission is through the JAMB UTME, and applicants must have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Ukana as a first choice Institution or apply for change of Institution at any CBT centre.
Higher National Diploma (HND):
Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a relevant discipline from a recognized Institution with at least a Lower Credit and one year post-ND Industrial Training Certificate.

The Governing Council of Bayero University, Kano has officially appointed Professor Haruna Musa as the institution’s 12th Vice-Chancellor. The announcement was made during a Council meeting held on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, where Prof. Musa was formally presented with his letter of appointment. He will assume office on August 18, 2025, succeeding Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, whose tenure ends later in August after a transformative five-year leadership.
The letter of appointment was presented by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, in the presence of Council members, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abbas, and the University Registrar, Haruna Aliyu. Dr. Gawuna congratulated Prof. Musa on his well-deserved appointment and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

Prof. Haruna Musa, a Professor of Polymer Chemistry and the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), recently emerged as the top candidate during the University’s 7th Congregation Parley, where he earned overwhelming community support.
As he prepares to take over the reins of leadership, expectations are high that Prof. Musa will build upon the achievements of his predecessor and steer the University toward greater academic excellence, research innovation, and global recognition. Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment Act, 2003, at its meeting held on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, considered the recommendation of the Selection Board and hereby approves your appointment as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, for a single term of five years with effect from August 18, 2025.

The College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri, Borno State, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for admission into the following programs for the 2025/2026 academic session:

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission into any of the programs, candidates must:
– Possess five credits in O’level at not more than two (2) sittings, which shall include Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
– WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate (SAISSCE) results are accepted.
– Candidates with awaiting results are not eligible.
– NABTEB result can only be combined with another NABTEB result to make up for deficits in the required subjects.

Duration: Masters degree programmes will run for a minimum of three (3) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters, while Architecture and MBA programmes will run for a minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters, respectively.
M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes
Candidates for admission into the Higher Degree and Diploma programmes shall normally be graduates of Bells University of Technology, Ota, or any other institutions recognized by the Senate of Bells University of Technology, Ota.
Duration: All M.Phil/Ph.D programmes shall normally run for a minimum of six semesters.
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
Candidates for admission into the Higher Degree and Diploma programmes shall normally be graduates of Bells University of Technology, Ota, or any other institutions recognized by the Senate of Bells University of Technology, Ota.

Bowen University Post-UTME screening eligibility and registration procedure for the 2025/2026 has been published. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to BOWEN UNIVERSITY degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
To be considered for admission into Bowen University, candidates must meet certain requirements. For undergraduate programs, candidates must have five credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. Candidates must also score the minimum cut-off mark in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet other criteria for each program specified by the university.
